How to Interpret the Bible: The Divine Throne-Chariot (or UFO's in the Bible)
A series of articles on How to Interpret the Bible, by Lauretta Lueck, author of The Many Waters.
To Ezekiel, what he saw was a creature, and the LORD rode on this live animal of unknown origin.
What the writers of the Qumran text describe is a chariot that, supposedly, came from heaven and was driven by angels. Obviously these people were familiar with chariots, but because these were exceptionally beautiful they may have thought they were heavenly and the occupants angels. Who else could they be?

Is 'Thought' Evident in Plants?
Who would have thought that a plant could be a witness to a crime – and even testify against the perpetrator? Well, it is true! In the early 1970’s experiments were done on ordinary houseplants, by researchers who connected a polygraph machine to a plant.

Controlling What YOU Hear By Watching What YOU Say
Controlling What YOU Hear By Watching What YOU Say:
If you’re going to listen to anyone you’re going to hear yourself. It does not matter what anyone in the world says about you, it means nothing until you allow it to get into your spirit and you begin to say what is being said to you.

True Justice and Freedom
The world’s idea of justice and freedom fall short of their purpose. Prison bars keep the guilty from repeating their crime while behind them. They cannot change the person. Freedom comes with a price. We have to take responsibility for our actions. We are never free from the tensions of living on the earth. We must pay the price of making a living and existing among people of different temperaments and cultures. Being in Christ is the perfect answer because he has already paid the price for our sins.

Trust Jesus (and Stress and Fear will Disappear)
The weight of the world had decided to settle on my shoulders. The car insurance was due and I simply did not have it. The cable went out on Wednesday, and I love Law & Order but had to miss it because regular television doesn’t work without cable in my area. The final straw came when the Student Loan people called and demanded I send a payment. I couldn’t handle it anymore. Not by myself, I couldn’t. So, I called on God for assistance...

Working With The Light
From the moment of our birth, we become externally focused into the material world. The world demands and commands we focus our attention on it. Exhausted at the end of the day, we fall into our beds to sleep. If we remember our dreams, they for the most part mirror our daily lives. Not only are we consciously, burdened, by our waking life, in sleep we are burdened as well.
