Verizon Heritage
I like my Masters spring-like. Odd site it was to see spectators covered in blankets. The blooms were out and the birds were chirping but I felt cold watching it. Exxon Mobile lucked out with the unseasonably cold weather: See, no global warming. Big Blue's ads were great-I didn't tire of Sam Elliott, the stranger from The Big Lebowsky, voicing over Augusta beauty shots to the tune of Yo-Yo Ma.

2007 Colorado Rockies Preview
The 2006 Rockies became the classic example of how cutting payroll and focusing on building from within can result in developing some of baseball's best young talent. The Rockies were in contention at the All-Star break with a 44-40 record, but an 8-game losing streak in mid-season made the Rockies play catch up the rest of the season. They finished tied at the bottom of the National League West with the Arizona Diamondbacks by seasons end with a 76-86 record. It was still an improvement by 9 games from the 2005 season which gives the Rockies high hopes for the 2007 season.

Decide For Yourself
Whatever magazine you buy or wherever fantasy source you go to, everyone that plays the game today has a collection of tools to help them make better fantasy baseball decisions. Through out these magazines, you'll probably find a correlation of the top players, Pujols, Santana, Arod, etc, and they'll probably all tell you, 'yeah these guys will produce for you'. But the fact is, even though they will all produce at an above average level, relative to THIS group, there will still be winners and losers. Don't be so quick to assume that because everyone says Ryan Howard is going to hit 50 bombs that he will. Don't be afraid to draft or pay for someone that goes against the grain. Pay attention to all the information you can get your hands on and add up your own formula. Be your own fantasy source.

2007 Atlanta Braves Preview
The Braves missed out on the stale Champagne celebration in 2006 after 14 consecutive division titles in the previous years. The Atlanta Braves finished third in the National League East behind the Mets and Phillies. As if that weren’t enough of a stunner, the principal culprit was pitching. The Braves ranked second in the NL in runs scored and first in slugging percentage, but finished tied for 10th with a .460 team ERA. With the Mets loading up, Pat Gillick reconfiguring the Phillies' roster, and the Marlins stockpiling young arms, it's going to be a challenge for the Braves to rediscover their old mojo in 2007.

No Fish Fry in Florida
It looked like the Marlins had a good thing going with Joe Girardi, but he is out and Fredi Gonzalez is in. Girardi led the Marlins to a 78-win season when many expected the fish to lose over 100 games, but butting heads with management got him shipped out.

Late Season NBA Betting
There are a couple of key points to keep in mind from a handicapping perspective as the NBA season begins to wind down. One is that this is the end of a long season. That means teams have had to endure a lot of road trips, airline flights, and all the difficulties that hinder a professional team away from home. Keep in mind that road trips can be very different early in the year, in mid-season and late in the season.

Early Season Baseball Betting
After more than five months off, the first pitch of the new baseball season is nearly here and bettors are getting ready. Preparation for the baseball season is already taking place by looking at injuries, depth charts, player transactions, statistics and many other sources to get ready for another long but enjoyable year. Early on in the season could be the most important since this is where betting momentum is either built or never established and that can take its toll throughout the summer months. Hitting your stride early is huge.
