    Anxiety and stress can be eliminated with time … I, You & We time. All you need to know is how to use this time wisely. This is our second part on how anxiety and stress can be eliminated by enjoying life more.

    You need to ask yourself … do you suffer from anxiety? Is stress and anxiety becoming an issue? Anxiety will affect your day to day life … it eats away at your time at work and leisure. Anxiety needs to be tackled now or stress will create a life that is shorter and less enjoyable.

    So again what is an I, YOU or WE times … why do they eliminate anxiety and stress?.

    I Times are activities you do that you enjoy, that your spouse doesn’t necessarily enjoy. It is a time for your self when your partner can’t complain, moan or be grumpy about (remember it is to remove your anxiety and stress). An activity that still requires communication to start with.

    Go have a game of golf, go for a walk, go to a sports game … just do some enjoyable activity to relieve your stress and anxiety.

    It is a balance and an understanding that you need time away from work, family and your spouse every now and then to keep the family and working life in balance and happy. It doesn’t take much to do, but it should be regular.

    So when and what are your I times? Do you have any?

You already have your I times, this is a time together where your partner will hopefully appreciate and start to enjoy some of the activities you enjoy.

    WE times are easy. They are times where you do an activity that you both enjoy doing together. Times apart from the children if you have them (although you should have family we times also) … child free … and anxiety and stress free at the same time. It could be going out to dinner and a movie, out dancing or for a walk, a weekend away together or whatever.

    WE times should be regular and spontaneous. Don’t always make them the same, and don’t always let your partner know what you have planned.

    That is right, you should organize surprise WE times. Make sure your partner will enjoy the activity, don’t make it inconvenient, but it should be a time for you both to enjoy. It also makes you think and work out what you both enjoy. You may find out that your partner doesn’t enjoy certain activities that you thought they would.

    However, you can keep these for your own personal YOU times.

    WE times should also be done with your children also, so that there are family WE times as well as personal WE times. There
